In an endeavor to ensure equal opportunities, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recently introduced an online admission process for the Balvatika-III class in 450 handpicked KV schools. This online process commenced on July 6th, 2023 and concluded on July 18th, 2023. Today, the admission list, also referred to as the Lottery results, has been officially released by the respective KV schools. This list encompasses all categories of applicants and is the outcome of the comprehensive Draw of Lots method.
It is vital to acknowledge that these admissions are provisional and are subject to document verification at any given stage. Parents are required to present a copy of their child’s online registration form from the KVS Online portal for KV HVF AVADI.
Throughout the admission process, parents must provide both original certificates and self-attested copies of the following documents. The original certificates will be returned after verification:
1. Duplicate of the child’s birth certificate issued by the competent authority (original will be returned after verification)
2. Duplicate of proof of residence for the registered address
3. Duplicate of SC/ST/OBC (NCL) certificate in the child’s name
4. Service certificate of parents employed in Central/State Government/PSU departments, duly signed by the head of office (original, which will not be returned), as per the attached proforma
5. Certificate indicating transfer details of the parent, duly endorsed by the competent authority (original, which will not be returned), as per the attached proforma
6. Duplicate of department ID card for government employees
7. Duplicate of discharge certificate for ex-servicemen
8. Duplicate of the child’s Aadhar card
9. One passport-size photograph of the child
10. Self-declaration, signed by the parent, stating the distance of residence from the school (original), as per the attached proforma. It is mandatory for at least one parent to be present during the admission process, along with the child.
For Category-I parents and those employed in departments that offer reimbursement for children’s education allowance, the following fees apply:
– Admission fees: Rs. 25.00
– VVN: Rs. 1500.00
– Total: Rs. 1525.00
For others, no fees are required.
Please be aware that admission will be automatically revoked if any submitted documents are discovered to be false or incorrect at any stage. In such instances, the vacancies will be offered to waitlisted candidates in accordance with the KVS Admission Guidelines.
Failure to report at the designated date and time will result in the forfeiture of the admission selection.

KVS Balvatika School Admission Documents 2023-24
Admission Documents for KVS Balvatika School 2023-24 | Uploading Required Documents
It is mandatory to upload scanned copies or images of two documents, namely the child’s birth certificate and a photo, when submitting the online application form. Please note that only .jpeg or .pdf files are accepted, with a maximum file size of 256 KB. Depending on the information provided in the previous sections of the online admission form, a list of documents required for verification by the Vidyalaya at the time of admission (not during the online application submission) will be displayed.
For each school selected in the application form, there will be separate lists of documents. Both original and photocopies of the listed documents must be presented to the Vidyalaya for verification in order for a child to be admitted. To make it more convenient for applicants, sample pro-forma document templates are available. These templates can be accessed by clicking on “Click here to download pro-forma of documents” under the “Pro forma document samples” link.
Here is the information regarding the documents that need to be submitted at the time of admission:
1. For admission to Bal Vatika-3, a birth certificate issued by the authority responsible for registering births is required as proof of age. This could include certificates from Notified Area Council / Municipality / Municipal Corporation, as well as extracts about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital, and service records of Defence personnel. A scan or picture of this certificate must be uploaded on the online admission portal. The original certificate should be presented to the Vidyalaya during admission and will be returned to the parent after verification.
2. For grandchildren of PSU (project sector)/ IHL employees, proof of relationship between either of the child’s parents and the grandparent who is a PSU (project sector)/ IHL employee will be required at the time of admission.
3. For children applying under SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/BPL category, a certificate issued by the competent authority in the State Government / Union Government stating that the child belongs to the respective category must be provided during admission. If this certificate is not available for the child, a certificate in respect of either of the parents may be accepted initially. However, the certificate in respect of the child must be submitted within 3 months from the date of admission.
4. For children applying under the “Differently Abled” category, a certificate from a civil surgeon / rehabilitation center or any other competent authority defined by the Government of India O.M. No. 36035/5/88/Estt.(sct) dated 4.5.1999 certifying the child’s handicap, if applicable, is required. In cases where the Principal of a Vidyalaya can visually observe the child’s handicap, a certificate may not be necessary initially. However, the parent will be advised to obtain the relevant certificate from the competent authority and submit it to the Vidyalaya as soon as possible.
5. For children applying under a service category where transfers are taken into account, a service certificate indicating the number of transfers during the preceding 7 years, duly signed and stamped by the head of office with their name, designation, and other relevant details in block letters, is required.
6. A retirement certificate for retired uniformed Defence employees.
7. Proof of residence for the child.
8. For children applying under the Single Girl Child category, an affidavit needs to be submitted. A proforma of this affidavit can be downloaded by clicking on “Click here to download pro-forma of documents” or on the “Pro forma document samples” link. Lastly, don’t forget to upload a photo of your child.

Announcement: KVS Balvatika Admission Lottery Results for the academic year 2023-24 are now available. The RTE Admission lottery for Balvatika I has been conducted, and the results will be posted on the Notice Board of the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya school.
